This will give you a bit of a feel for how these online courses are delivered. This course is for people who want to start their own business, and focuses on activities they should be doing before they leave their current "paying" job. 10 things to do BEFORE you quit your day job

    • First session of the WOWpreneur program
  • Course Description:
    • Many people feel they must "jump" into this wonderful world of entrepreneurship but in reality there are many things you can, and should do, before you leave your paying job. Some of these tasks just take research and your time while some will actually cost you money. Both will be precious when you start your business so DO THESE FIRST.
  • Number of slides: 13
  • Time needed to complete this course: 25 minutes
  • Equipment needed:
    • Computer, connection to the Internet, ability to run Adobe Flash. RIM Playbook and Samsung Galaxy Tablets will run Flash. Ipads and Iphones currently do not support Flash videos. If you cannot see the video to the left, this means your computer is not running Adobe Flash. Do not purchase this program until you upgrade your system or will be using another computer.You should be familiar with using an Internet Browser as WOWpreneur courses and sessions run best on Internet Explorer. Just as you are receiving this page using a browser, the course will be delivered the same way.
    • Attachments:
      • There are multiple attachments to accompany this course. See below for how to download.
    • Cost:
      • FREE: with access as often as you like for a two-month subscription period. (Normal pricing is $29.95 ($31.45 includes GST) through PayPal and/or your selected credit card. (It will show $31.45 for 2 months, that does not mean you will be billed $31.45 for two months, it means the session fee is $31.45 and you can access the session as many times as you like for a two-month subscription period.)
    • Membership & Login information:
      • For this course to be delivered through an online format it must run on what is called "membership software". That means to see the session, you will become a member of WOW Communications Corp's WOWpreneur Program. You will be asked to select a user name and password. See screen shot of sign up form
      • You will get reminder notices from us by email about the subscription timeframe of your session. WE WILL NOT BOMBARD YOU WITH EMAIL NOTICES OR SELL MESSAGES AND WE WILL NOT SELL, RENT OR LEND YOUR EMAIL TO ANYONE.
      • Even though this session is FREE, you can view this session as many times as you like over a two-month subscription period. To view this session again, go to: http://www.wowpreneur.tv/purchase/member.php and then login with your user name and password.

  • The process: The entire sign up process will take approximately 2 minutes.
  • WOWpreneur membership: As mentioned above, you must first become a member of WOW Communications Corp's WOWpreneur.tv. When you click on the "Buy Now" link above you will be taken to the membership login site. This will ask you to select a user name and login. These will be used to access the session you have purchased multiple times in your two month subscription. Once you have completed the login, you will be directed to the membership information form. Select the course you are purchasing and then complete the form with your details. Note that only * fields are mandatory, the other fields are optional. You will only have to complete this form once.
  • Payment: If you were taking a paid session, you would next be directed to your PayPal or selected credit card site. Once that payment has been processed your can either start your session, or logout and go to your session at a later date. Your subscription allows you to view this session multiple times over a two-month period.
  • To view the session in the future for your two month subscription, go to http://wowpreneur.tv/purchase/ and login, when you are finished close the session.


Don't get hung up on the "preneur" thing - a "preneur" is defined as someone who "takes action and is willing to take upon himself or herself a new venture or enterprise while accepting full responsibility for the outcome".
